New Members David Maxwell & Cathy Green
David & Cathy are from Baltimore, MD. Fins is a 1988 32 foot Sedan with a single 220HP turbo Cummins. The boat was purchased last June and delivered to Middle River (Cutter Marine), from Stamford CT. During the Fall and Winter, we updated all of the electronics, added new canvas to the Fly bridge and aft deck, replaced all of the window treatments, upholstery and fly bridge cushions. As spring arrives, final touches will include refinishing all of the exterior rails and transom. This is my second Grand Banks. Previously, I had a 1984 36 classic with a single 120HP Leland. Since our boat is generally limited to entertaining, day trips and short getaways, the Sedan version was better suited to meet our entertainment needs - the 36's aft cabin top never made for a great dance floor! Of course, the 20% increase in speed - from a cruise or 7 knots to 8.5 knots - wasn't overlooked either! With all of the work behind us, Cathy and I are ready for a summer of cruising.
