We just bought a 1991 42 Classic, Amazing Grace (name changed from Judge Knot). We’re now in the process of a few GB fixes: hatch repair, varnish, some deck work. The boat is berthed at Deltaville Yacht Center on Broad Creek. We live in Manakin Sabot, VA, just west of Richmond, and have been in the area since 1974. I have been around boats most of my life, spending summers on the Potomac. We've been through a progression of small runabouts gradually moving up to a 35 Albin then the GB.

We’ve been married 35 years, 3 children; one daughter married in Richmond, second currently a soccer coach at Stanford U, and  son a senior at Auburn U; and one grand daughter; Grace Virginia in Richmond (part of the inspiration for the name of the boat).

I have been an investment advisor for the past 28 years, having been a scientist and then in manufacturing out of college. Rosemary managed the family and tries to keep me sane.  We both play some golf, Rosemary is an artist at heart, incredibly creative, I have been involved with the Boy Scouts. Most of our boating has been on the Chesapeake, from Norfolk to Annapolis, with some charters in SW FL. We don't have a picture of the boat yet.  We look forward to meeting the group.
