New Members Bob Schuerger and Vicki Spelton
We are Bob Schuerger, Vicki Spelton and our faithful dog Rosie. Our home base is Melbourne, FL and we have been cruising/traveling about six months a year on our 1988 42’ Classic “Blue Moon” (and the last two years on our motor home) since year 2k.

Our lives together started in 1993 and we married in 1994. We enjoyed many hours of cruising around Biscayne Bay and the Florida Keys in several different boats until we bought a GB. One day we saw a trawler and said that looks like fun. The investigation began, we found Passagemaker Magazine and started looking at trawlers.
We purchased “Blue Moon” in March, 1999. Since then we have cruised from Florida to Ottawa, CA, Lake Champlain and the Chesapeake Bay several years.
“Blue Moon” has been at Oxford Yacht Agency for the last couple of years while we explored the Western USA in our motor home. We are now planning on cruising the Chesapeake Bay during spring and fall while keeping “Blue Moon” at OYA. We’re looking forward to meeting, cruising the bay and sharing boating stories with fellow cruisers that share our passion.
