Events for 2010
Remember Peter! Those of you who knew Peter Featherstone, might remember the trip to Chrisfield and Tangier Island, June 18/19, was his dream. He would have been proud, seven boats enjoyed the hospitality of Bob & Shirley Cunningham as we feasted on grilled fillets and crabs. Tangier Island deserves another visit and is a photographer's playground.
July 9-11, Cruise to Rock Hall (Haven Harbor) is being hosted by Sy Baden and Elizabeth Colton. Among the plans are a tour of the boat yard and maintenance facility, the Waterman's Museum, a member flea market and dinner at the Bay Wolf restaurant. Register online or contact Sy at 301.947.5497. Ten boats made the trip to Rock Hall and the members showed off their rain gear as they shared the pot luck and visited three museums (Rock Hall, Tolchester and the Waterman's Museum). Thanks to the marina staff for being our chauffeur's.
August 6 -7, Cruise to St. Leonard Creek is being hosted by Sam & Sharon Nicholson. Anchor in/near the cove beside Breedens Point; cocktails & appetizers at 6PM aboard "Dr. Nick"; Saturday relax on the water, then travel one mile to Solomons Island and Calvert Marina for dinner at the Back Creek Bistro.
